We have now begun the process of ensuring our larger clients comply with the government’s new Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme (ESOS).
ESOS applies to businesses with more than 250 employees or a turnover in excess of €50m. Compliance involves assessing energy use and energy efficiency at least once every four years. The requirements are complex and an assessment has to be carried out by a Lead Assessor – the deadline for the first compliance period is 5 December 2015.
