Clients are continuing to reap the rewards of lower prices in the energy markets, securing contracts which save them thousands of pounds a year.
Since the prices began to fall earlier this year, businesses which are approaching their contract expiration date have been able to benefit by securing new contracts, often at significantly lower prices or on more favourable terms.
For the first time in a number of years, clients have been comfortable with placing contracts spanning two, and even three, years.
This is in contrast to the 12 month contracts which had become more commonplace when prices were higher as they wanted to retain the flexibility to switch to a new supplier or renegotiate better prices.
